Our Team
Jackson R. Durand
My name is Jackson Durand, I am the principal owner for Durand Architectural Engineering Inc. I am a native Californian, born and raised in Orange County. Shortly after I graduated from the Army & Navy Academy in Carlsbad, I began backpacking around the world from Europe to Asia, and South America. While traveling and living abroad I experienced the kaleidoscope of different life styles & cultural values that exist in our world, and pondered how I could bring some of that home with me. When I returned home, I moved over to the Islands of Hawai'i where I received my Bachelor of Arts from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Since then, I have worked with some of the top professionals in California on design build projects with the intentions to create livable art. While we are not a big firm, we are dedicated to excellence in our field. We hope to have the opportunity to work with you in the near future.
Paul H. Durand P.E. S.E.
With over 40 years of experience practicing civil and structural engineering, Paul Durand has developed a reputation for excellence, reliability, and integrity as a professional engineer. Every engineering project; residential, commercial, government & municipal, Paul Durand meticulously evaluates the most efficient design solution for new construction, or rehabilitation of existing structures. His thorough understanding of how internal and external forces affect a structural system is evident from his professional track record working across the nation and abroad. Paul Durand is widely known for his specialty project expertise. His engineering expertise was pinnacle for the developments of concrete girder design for commercial buildings. Aside from his professional career, Paul Durand is a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather, asserting his belief that family is most important.
